TA-DA! I finished it!

I hope you will excuse my photo. :) I didn't noticed that I crumpled my crocheted "throw" at the bottom. As I shared a few days ago, this was originally supposed to be a shawl/wrap, but after completing it, it was a bit small for a plus-size person. So...I just kept going! And ta-da! My first project where I had to actually follow directions. Sadly, I do not follow directions well, so I will be needing some more practice. I like the zig-zags though & even though I didn't think I'd like the colors, once I saw the yarn, I liked the little "flecks" of color that runs throughout each one. Of course, my husband, forever "Mr. Positive--Look on the bright side" said: "Hey, look, you can spill food on it and you won't really notice." Oh boy...what a nut. :) Next, I have an afghan I want to start!

It's beautiful! You did a great job! I was inspired by your blog to get out my knitting again--haven't seen it for about a year--and, lo and behold, I had an allergic reaction to the fibers in the yarn I was using to knit a scarf with last night. I am very allergic to rabbit fur, don't know why, and I don't know if this yarn had angora rabbit in it or not--there was no label and it was in an old collection of yarn I had in a cloth bag, but I need to only knit with synthetic from now on!

Sheri - looks like you did a great job. I've always wanted to learn to crochet - but never have. I would love to make my own scarves since I love them so much. Keep up your good work - and have fun on your next project! Cathy
