We've had nothing but rain, rain, and more rain lately, and although the grass has gone wild and needs to be mowed again(!) the flowers are looking gorgeous! I love spring-time! I love the daffodils, red bud trees, forsythia, dogwood trees...it's all just a delight for the senses...and when the lilac blooms (!)...it's heavenly! I love to walk outside and just breathe in all the scents.

I must confess I am a bird-lover! I especially love these cardinals which are everywhere here! I guess that's why they are our state bird. ;) They are so bright and cheery in the dreary leftover winter days. I always have birdfeeders out for all my little feather friends.

I snapped this photo on my way out the door this morning coming to work. I love the pink blossoms in the spring. So soft and cheery! And the grass is actually looking green now. Oh how I do love spring-time.
